Formerly a popular pitcher for the Japanese top professional baseball team Tokyo Yomiuri Giants, Shohei Baba joined under Riki Dozan and became one of Japan's most popular pro wrestlers, eventually making his own promotion called All Japan Pro Wrestling. This is a wonderful figure, as are all HAO figures, but this one especially so as the detail on Baba's robe is superb. He had the best robes. Ric Flair might have had the most flamboyant robes, but Baba's robes are classy like Freddie Blassie.
